Brayden Martino is a writer, director, and comedian based in New York City. He has written and self-produced several parody musicals including the internet-viral sensations Slightly Strange Parents, It’s Not Ogre Yet, Clown Island, and Ya Like Jazz? A Bee Musical.
He specializes in integrating improv and audience interaction into scripted theater. His work aims to create shared community experiences through exuberant stories that the audience will influence differently every night. The theater collective he founded, See Humans, has forged a space for Gen Z artists to use experimental techniques to create the art they want to see in the world.
In 2023, his original musical comedy Toothy's Treasure workshopped Off-Broadway at The Theater Center. Since then it has been produced at The Boston Center for the Arts, and is continuing to be developed.
